Every morning our chef is here bright in early preparing a delicious three-course Kennebunkport breakfast. During our “peaceful season” we have one breakfast seating, but during the busy season guests have the option of attending one of two breakfast seating’s. They can get an early start at 8:15 or sleep in and join us at 9:30. Breakfast is served at the large dining room table where guest’s converse in a casual setting, however, couples who prefer a more intimate setting can request a table for two.
Breakfast begins with fresh squeezed orange juice paired with a hot beverage. Guest can choose from our locally roasted coffee from Carpe Diem, a delicious cup of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream or select one of our many gourmet loose teas.
Our first course starts with fruit followed by freshly baked muffins or coffee cake and popovers on every Sunday. Entrees alternate each day from sweet to savory, such as Maine blueberry pancakes with lemon sauce or Maine maple syrup and locally made sausage links or an artichoke frittata with smoked Canadian bacon. Gluten free and other special dietary options are available upon request, and we will prepare eggs any way you’d like.
Many of the seasonal herbs, greens and berries used in our breakfast are from the inn’s own garden or locally sourced.
