About Kennebunkport

Kennebunkport is one of 5 villages known as ‘The Kennebunks.’ Located about 90 minutes north of Boston’s Logan airport and 30 minutes south of Portland Maine’s Jetport, the Kennebunks are comprised of Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Cape Porpoise, Goose Rocks Beach and Arundel.

Kennebunkport - Kennebunkport is known as a year round tourist destination and one of the liveliest summer spots on the New England Coast. Its central village area located on a picturesque harbor features many marinas, fine shops, restaurants, art galleries and a plethora of activities. On the outskirts of busy ‘Dock Square’, you’ll find beautiful historic homes and tree lined streets.

Kennebunk – Downtown Kennebunk is the kind of town that invites a leisurely stroll, a bit of shopping, a stop for lunch and a look back at history at The Brick Store Museum. A walking tour is a must for anyone with an interest in architecture or history. There are more than two dozen sites all within Kennebunk’s National Register Historic District.
Cape Porpoise – Located 3 miles east of Kennebunkport, Cape Porpoise is an authentic working fishing village. Virtually untouched by time, it is a traditional “old Maine” port with its pier, lighthouse and fishing fleet.
Goose Rocks Beach – A quiet village at waters edge with a long sweep of beautiful white sandy beach, just east of Cape Porpoise
Arundel – Located just north of Kennebunk, Arundel is known for its beautiful back roads and country drives. If you care to stop along the way there are many antique shops, an antique trolley museum and it is home to a wonderful summer playhouse. In the wintertime, visit Arundel for your ride through the snow on a horse drawn sleigh.
